UNA Parking Bylaw Public Consultation CompletedThe UNA will be accepting your comments regarding the UNA Draft Parking Bylaw that has been developed according to the protocol outlined in the Neighbours Agreement section 5.5 and Schedule G.
Under the Neighbours Agreement, the UNA can adopt rules that relate to the management of noise, traffic, parking, and other similar nuisances within the UNA neighbourhoods. These rules will be approved by the UBC Board of Governors. The UNA Parking Bylaw Development Committee, a committee of volunteers from the community and directors and staff of the UNA, has reviewed draft language for a UNA Parking Bylaw and has made a recommendation to the UNA Board of Directors to bring this draft bylaw to UNA residents for comment. At the end of the consultation period, the comments received will be considered by the UNA Parking Bylaw Development Committee and the committee will make a recommendation to the UNA Board of Directors to send the rule to the UBC Board of Governors for approval.
The UNA Board of Directors invites you to review the UNA Draft Parking Bylaw and send your comments to them c/o Cathie Cleveland at cathie@myuna.ca or by fax at 604.827.5375,or to the UNA Offices at the Old Barn Community Centre, 6308 Thunderbird Blvd before 4:30 pm on July 5.
