Sponsored jointly by the UNA and SUCCESS, this comprehensive settlement services help immigrants gain the knowledge and resources necessary to adapt to the Canadian way of life.

  • One on one inquiries (drop in/appointment) on immigration, citizenship, housing, customs, medical and health, etc.
  • Assist in form filling, making referrals and connecting to services and resources in the community.
  • Conduct new immigrant orientation sessions, workshops, and welcoming parties.

中侨互助会移民安頓 服务

UNA和中侨互助会合作，为不同文化背景的人提供移民安顿服务，让移民获得所需的知识和资源，得以适应加拿大的生活方式。中侨互助会社会外展辅导员Helen Su 苏小姐来到Old Barn 社区中心，免费以国、粤、英语为您提供“新移民个别辅导”。您和家人可以把想了解的问题带来，向我们的职员一一询问。

从11月7日起，服务时间为每周一在Old Barn社区中心办公室。 全天服务分两个时段：

  1. 预约时段：早上10点 – 下午1点； 以及下午4点 – 5点，欢迎预先致电预约。 电话： 604-408-7274分机2072 ，或者电邮到： helen.su@success.bc.ca.
  2. 自由时段：下午2点 – 4点，无需预约。

协助包括：

  • 填写新移民所需申请的表格：医疗卡，牛奶金，成人英语学习（ELSA）等
  • 提供有关房屋，医疗，教育，考车牌，税制，加国福利等信息和转介服务
  • 就业市场介绍，具体行业分析
  • 政府免费就业及培训项目介绍与推荐
  • 个人简历，求职信和工作面试等求职技巧指导
