UNA Parking Enforcement Starts January 2012

    Starting January 2012, the UNA residential neighbourhoods will have new interim parking rules enforced by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.  Learn about the rules.

    WHO requires a decal or permit:

    ONLY residents from Hawthorn Place and Wesbrook Place (please check your building BEFORE applying)

    WHERE and WHEN to get it:

    • the UNA office (202-5923 Berton Ave.)
      Monday to Friday: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

    WHAT to bring:

    • For Resident Parking Decal: driver’s license and vehicle registration (see example)
    • For Visitor Parking Permit: proof of UNA residency (see example)

    Important! Towing starts in Wesbrook Place on March 5, 2012.  Vehicles in Wesbrook Place parked in violation of the interim parking rules will be towed at owners’ cost

    Important Dates:

    • January 3, 2012 – Vehicles parked in violation of the UNA interim parking rules will be issued a warning ticket. No fine is attached to the warning ticket.
    • January 3, 2012 – parking decal and visitor parking pass will be available at the Old Barn Community Centre (6308 Thunderbird Blvd.) for Hawthorn residents.
    • January 9, 2012 – parking decal and visitor parking pass will be available at the UNA office (202-5923 Berton Ave.) for Wesbrook residents.
    • January 16, 2012, vehicles parked in violation of the UNA interim parking rules will be towed at owners’ cost.
