Road and Sidewalk Closures for the Olympic and Paralympic Games at UBC

During the Olympic and Paralympic Games it is possible that the usual routes you take around UBC may be restricted. To help those planning alternate routes to and from campus and within UBC neighbourhoods, detailed information and maps outlining the overall road restrictions around UBC Thunderbird Arena can be found at the UBC 2010 website. Keep in mind that some closures may also affect pedestrian and bicycle routes. Welcome

The University Neighbourhoods Association was established in 2002 to promote the creation of a vibrant and sustainable community for the residents of UBC's residential neighbourhoods.  Today, approximately 6,000 residents live in five UNA neighbourhoods including Hampton Place, Hawthorn Place, Chancellor Place, East Campus, and - our newest neighbourhood - Wesbrook Place.
