Facilities Access

Under the Neighbours' Agreement, UNA residents have long-term enhanced access to UBC recreational facilities.

UBC Aquatic Centre Pool

UNA residents pay a discounted rate at the Pool when they show their Community Services Card.

Thunderbird Winter Sports Centre

UNA residents pay a discounted rate at the Thunderbird Winter Sports Centre when they show their Community Services Card. In addition, the Winter Sports Centre offer public skate times and stick and puck times for residents.

Thunderbird Fields

One field has been designated for community use. The running/walking track is also available for community use whenever there are no scheduled track events.

Osborne Centre

UNA residents have access to gym space at the Osborne Centre. Previously, there have been drop-in badminton and basketball times available for UNA residents and classes have also been offered in basketball skills.  Please see the Old Barn Program Guide for programs run at the Osborne.

Outdoor Basketball Court

The Outdoor Basketball Court, located across the street from the Osborne Centre on Thunderbird Boulevard, is a shared facility. UNA residents of all ages have open access to this facility, which is shared with UBC students.
