How do I get involved with

UNA Board of Directors?

Four of the six UNA Board of Directors are residential directors elected by UNA members at the Annual General Meeting, which is usually held in September every year.  A call for nominations will be sent out prior to the AGM.  To be eligible for nomination a person must be a resident of the UNA and otherwise meet the requirements of our By-laws.  Nominees for the UNA Board of Directors may contact the UNA office to be sent nomination forms.  To be eligible, nomination require the support of 10 members of the UNA.  Nominees are requested to submit a one page biographical sketch and photo with the completed nomination form to the UNA office.  Biographical information will be posted on the UNA website and /or the UNA In Your Neighbourhood Newsletter.

Volunteering?

There are many volunteer opportunities in the UNA community. Perhaps, you have a special skill or interest that you can share with residents through forming a club or teaching a class. Perhaps, you have a special interest or area of expertise that would make you an asset on a UNA committee. Or, perhaps, you simply want to volunteer at special events, such as the annual Barn Raising or Lunar New Year celebrations. To find out more about volunteer opportunities contact the UNA Office at 604-827-5158.
