What is
Difference between UNA Membership and Community Services Card?
UNA members do not receive membership cards. UNA membership entitles members to vote in UNA elections and to run for positions on the UNA Board.
The Community Services Card, on the other hand, is an actual card that UNA residents need to show when applying for a Vancouver Public Library card, membership to the UBC Botanical Garden, or receiving special rates at The Old Barn Community Centre and UBC athletic facilities.
Benefits of having a Community Services Card?
A Community Services Card (CSC) entitles UNA residents to apply for library cards at the Vancouver Public Library and at UBC Libraries. CSC cardholders can also apply for free membership to the UBC Botanical Garden and use the card to get preferential rates to UBC athletic facilities.
