Standing Committee on Operations & Sustainability

The Standing Committee on Operation and Sustainability is a committee of the UNA Board of Directors.  It has responsibility for policy related to the provision of municipal services within the neighbourhoods and the development of sustainability strategies.  The following are subcommittees of this standing committee:

Standing Committee on Governance

The Standing Committee on Governance is a committee of the UNA Board of Directors.  It advises the Directors on issues of Board, internal and external governance.  Currently, a Noise Rules Development Subcommittee and a Parking Rules Development Subcommittee—acting under the direction of the Standing Committee on Governance—are working on developing rules suitable for the UNA community. Future rule development may deal with other areas of local concern such as animal control. The following are subcommittees of this standing committee:

Standing Committee on Human Resources

The Standing Committee on Human Resources is a committee of the UNA Board of Directors.  It advises the Directors on HR matters related to UNA employees.

Standing Committee on Finance and Audit

The Standing Committee on Finance and Audit is a committee of the UNA Board of Directors.  It advised the Directors on financial matters related Neighbour’s Fund and municipal services.  It develops policies related to the management of the Neighbour’s Fund, and the UNA Operating and Capital Budgets.
