Hawthorn Place Interim Parking Rules
Resident Parking
Parking rules will be in effect Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
- Resident vehicles from Hawthorn Place will be identified by a unique Hawthorn neighbourhood decal.
- Resident owned vehicles displaying a Hawthorn neighbourhood decal may park in “authorized” areas for short periods of time.
Visitor Parking
- Visitor parking in “authorized” areas will be permitted, providing that a Hawthorn Place visitor parking pass is properly displayed.
Service Vehicle Parking
- Signed service vehicles will be permitted to park in “authorized” areas.
Community Centre Parking
- Visitors to the Old Barn Community Centre can park in 2 hr parking areas from 7 am to 10 pm and require no identification.
- Overnight parking is prohibited.
- These areas are high priority enforcement areas to ensure frequent turnover.
Parking Decal
To apply for a resident parking decal, please complete the application form, and bring it with your driver’s license and your vehicle registration (see example) to the UNA office. The parking decal must be placed on the inside top left corner of the vehicle front windshield. The expiry date must be visible from outside the vehicle.
IMPORTANT: only one parking decal will be issued to the primary driver of the vehicle as shown on the vehicle registration. Parking decals are not transferable.
Visitor Parking Pass
To apply for the new visitor parking pass, please complete the application form and bring it with your proof of address to the UNA office. The new visitor parking pass must be hung on the rear view mirror of the visiting vehicle. The expiry date must be visible from outside the vehicle.
IMPORTANT: only one new visitor parking pass will be issued to each residential unit in Hawthorn Place. Visitor parking pass cannot be used for resident parking.
