The Wesbrook Community Centre has several air-conditioned spaces where you can cool down on a hot day. The lounge, senior/teen room and the gym have been designated as cooling areas for anyone who needs a reprieve from the heatwave.

The Wesbrook Community Centre is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekends, 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on BC Day, August 2.

The Splash Pad beside the community centre remains open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Please note that wearing a mask while visiting the Wesbrook Community Centre is optional, however, it is recommended by provincial health authorities that masks be worn in public indoor settings by all people ages 12 and older who are not yet fully vaccinated. Some people may choose to continue to wear a mask after they’re fully vaccinated and that’s okay too. If you are feeling sick or have symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home, and visit the centre when you are feeling better.
