DESCRIPTION:Join monthly seminars on healthy aging. This is a volunteer-led program. Registration is required. \nMarch 12: See the Difference: Understanding Eye Health As We Age \nOur eyes play a vital role in maintaining quality of life as we age. This interactive workshop will explore how vision changes over time and what changes are normal. Learn what signs should not be ignored\, and how healthy habits and regular eye exams can help protect your sight. We will cover common eye conditions in seniors and introduce simple eye exercises for daily comfort and eye health! \nUBC Vision Health is a student-led initiative at the University of British Columbia dedicated to promoting awareness\, education\, and access to eye health and vision care in the community. Through workshops\, outreach events\, and community partnerships\, UBC Vision Health aims to empower individuals with practical knowledge about eye health\, early detection of eye conditions\, and strategies to support long-term visual well-being.
