SUMMARY:Nature Club at the Beaty Biodiversity Museum
DESCRIPTION:Drop-in between 10:30 am – 1:00 pm on the first SATURDAY of the month to enjoy special activities for families plus all of our regular museum programming\, Raising Big Blue movie\, museum tours\, and more! \nThese drop-in sessions are designed for children 5-12 years old accompanied by an adult (not suitable for preschool-aged children). All sessions will be held at the Beaty Biodiversity Museum\, with experts from the Pacific Museum of Earth and around UBC making guest appearances. Drop-in activities will run between 10:30 am and 1:00 pm. \nEveryone is welcome to participate! Thanks to the generous support of Campus and Community Planning\, UBC campus families can take part for free! UBC Campus Families are families of anyone who lives at UBC Vancouver or UBC Okanagan or is a staff\, faculty\, or student on either campus. DESCRIPTION:Moderated by: H. Hailey Graham \nAll UNA Members are invited to attend an All-Candidates Forum to learn more about the candidates running in the UNA Elections 2021. The candidates will be introducing themselves and answering questions on UNA issues. \nRegistration is required to attend. The link to register was emailed to UNA Members on November 12 and will be emailed again on November 17. \nFor more information and to read the candidate statements\, visit myuna.ca/elections. \nAbout the Moderator: \nH. Hailey Graham is a family law lawyer practicing in downtown Vancouver. Hailey graduated from UBC with a Bachelor of Arts\, majoring in Political Science. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law. During her time at UBC\, Hailey was president of the Political Science Student Association\, helped to establish UBC’s chapter of Equal Voice\, attended Universities Model Parliament as party leader\, and volunteered with Legal Education Outreach. In addition to her legal practice\, Hailey works as a facilitator for UBC’s Institute for Future Legislators (through the School of Public Policy). In her spare time\, Hailey likes to travel\, snowboard\, and spend time with her family. \n
