DESCRIPTION:The UNA community is invited to join in on Lunar New Year activities throughout February. \n\nCelebration Booth: Drop-in at the Wesbrook Community Centre on Saturday\, February 5\, 2022 from 1-3 p.m. to pick-up Lunar New Year give-aways. The booths will be observing COVID-19 safety protocols.\nTiger Artworks: A tiger-themed artwork gallery will be on display at the Wesbrook Community Centre during the month of February.\nCalling All Artists! We are calling for tiger-themed artwork submissions from the community. Any form of art is welcome. The deadline for submission is January 31. Please contact Qiuning Wang at qiuning.wang@myuna.ca for more info.\n\nPlease note that due to an abundance of care for the safety of our community\, the Lunar New Year Committee has decided to cancel the Lion Dance and the larger gathering at the Wesbrook Community Centre gymnasium.

DESCRIPTION:Board Meeting Information\nSubject to mitigating factors\, UNA Board of Directors meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at the Wesbrook Community Centre. During the pandemic\, the following COVID-19 safety precautions will be observed during in-person meetings (subject to any changes in Provincial Health Orders or UNA policy): \n\nProof of vaccination is not required as Board meetings are classified under essential services.\nBoard and staff are considered workers while seated at the Board and staff tables\, and will not be required to wear masks while seated at their respective tables. Board and staff will be seated separately and socially distanced from the attending public.\nMasks will be required for non-Board/staff attending the meeting.\nIf there are any delegations\, they will be able to remove their masks while speaking at the podium.\n\nMaterials for the meetings are published on the website: \n\n\n\nMeeting Package: Provided before each open Board meeting\nMeeting Minutes: Approved by the Board at the following Board meeting\n\n\n\nResidents are invited to attend all open sessions. If a delegation wishes to address the Board\, advance notice to the Chief Administrative Officer prior to the meeting is required. Delegations are to be heard in the order in which they notify the CAO of their intention to make a presentation to the Board\, unless the Board decides otherwise.
