Noise Advisory: Canada Day

As we prepare for our Canada Day celebration, we want to inform residents in advance that amplified music will be played at the event on Tuesday, July 1, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Wesbrook Community Centre.

In response to recent community concerns, we’ve taken proactive steps to ensure that sound levels remain respectful and within reasonable limits. A sound check was conducted in advance, and volume caps have been placed on the equipment. Our event coordinator will also actively monitor noise levels throughout the event using a decibel-measuring tool.
