Survey: Pacific Spirit Regional Park Dog Management Review

Metro Vancouver is reviewing dog management at Pacific Spirit Regional Park to address growing challenges related to off-leash areas, visitor safety, and environmental protection.

With over four million annual visitors, input from the community is essential to ensure the program reflects a range of needs. Feedback from conversations, incident data, and trail use is being considered. Possible updates include improved signage, trail rules, education, and enforcement.

A short survey is open until June 4, 2025, for park users to share their experiences. Changes will be announced in fall 2025 and shared in the park and on Metro Vancouver’s website.
