Registration for our spring/summer 2024 programs opens at 9:00 a.m on March 4, 2024.

Drop-in Sports

To register for a drop-in sport which opens 48 hours prior to the session, please follow the steps below:

  • Select ‘Login’ at the top of the UNA home page
  • Log in to your UNA account
  • Hover your mouse over ‘services’, and select programs
  • Click ‘Sport Drop-In’
  • Navigate to the session you would like to attend and click ‘register’
  • Follow the on-screen instructions as prompted to complete registration

Please note that there are two categories of sports available at the UNA: “Casual Sports” and “Drop-In Sports”.

“Drop-In Sports” registration opens 48 hours prior to the drop-in session. “Casual sports” are registered programs with select number of spots reserved for drop-in, which can only be registered in person 30 minutes prior to the start of the session.

Grant-funded Projects

The University Neighbourhoods Association creates initiatives based on prominent community needs. Each initiative includes a combination of programs and events with a common core purpose. Learn more about some of the initiatives we are currently running:

  • Live Well, Stay Strong for Seniors 55+
    • Live Well, Stay Strong is the fourth project of the UNA that is funded by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program. Following the accomplishments of the previous three projects, this project continues the efforts to strengthen the physical ability, brain wellness, and digital literacy of seniors in the community.

  • Weaving Wellness 
    A Mental Health Initiative 

    • Looking after your wellbeing is more important than ever. Weaving Wellness is a new UNA initiative that aims to make mental health resources more accessible to the community. Weaving Wellness offers a variety of webinars, programs and resources whether you’re just starting to learn more about mental health, wanting improve your general wellbeing, or looking to find ways to cope with life’s challenges.
