PLEASE NOTE: The current plan for this consultation has been cancelled. We will provide updates once a new schedule is in place.

Online survey: Survey will open once new consultation dates are confirmed.

Public open houses: The following open houses have been cancelled. New open houses are being scheduled and new dates will be announced soon.

Residents are invited to take part in a public consultation on enhancing the student experience and housing near the University Boulevard area. To meet the significant demand for more student residences and address affordability, UBC is looking to add student and University housing into the centre of campus, while enhancing student experience, health and well-being.

From February 26 to March 18 UBC is seeking input on proposed student housing sites near University Boulevard, Brock Hall, Gage Towers, and Peter A. Allard School of Law. This exploration of additional housing is part of an overall planning and design guideline update for U Boulevard, which will also include design concepts for Student Union Boulevard, outdoor improvements, and potential future academic sites.

Two phases of public consultation are planned, and you will be able to review and comment on details of the proposed projects. Please share your thoughts and experience online or at one of the following events.

4:00pm to 7:00pm
I.K. Barber Learning Centre
2nd floor lobby

11:00am to 2:00pm
