The University Neighbourhoods Association is now accepting nominations for the UNA Board of Directors, with two Resident Director positions open for election. As a Board member, you have direct input into the management of the UNA society, including setting the strategic direction for the organization and determining priorities for services that impact neighbourhood residents. UNA members are encouraged to take on this leadership role in our community.

Nomination Requirements

  • Anyone wishing to be elected as Resident Director must be a UNA member in good standing
  • Candidates must submit their nomination to the UNA Office at #202-5923 Berton Avenue no later than Friday, October 27, 2017 at 4:30 p.m.
  • Per UNA Bylaw 5.6, the nomination form must be signed by at least five nominators, each of whom must be members in good standing of the UNA and entitled to vote in the current election.
  • It is recommended that the candidate have extra signatures in the case that one or more of the five nominators are invalid.

Please note that having a UNA Access Card does not automatically entitle a resident to UNA membership. Please ensure that your you and your nominators have a valid UNA membership.
