No registration is required. \n  \n4:30 – 5:30 pm | Community Showcase \n5:45 – 6:30 pm | Glisha \n6:45 – 7:30 pm | Shamir Virgo \n  \nGlisha is a Vancouver-based Filipino-Canadian artists who effortlessly blends together the world of Pop\, RnB\, and Folk with her lyrically-charged and punchy pop melodies paired with warm vocal tones. With influences such as Ariana Grande\, Taylor Swift\, and Lizzy Mcalpine\, Glisha’s work displays storytelling through her songwriting\, production\, and lush vocal stacks. \nShamir Virgo is a Vancouver-based independent artist\, songwriter and musician. He makes Pop/R&B-inspired music\, his influences include the likes of Pink $wests\, Daniel Caesar\, Leon Thomas\, and Music Soulchild. He has worked with many Vancouver locals and aspires to create connections with other artists and musicians who strive to maintain musical integrity.

Plus\, bring your well-loved clothing and other items to shake up your wardrobe with our sustainability swap\, and explore unique finds from our diverse vendors. \nAccepted items for the sustainability swap include: clothes (shirts\, sweaters\, pants\, dresses)\, shoes\, accessories\, books\, kitchenware\, stationery\, plants\, home décor\, etc. Please be considerate and only bring items that your neighbour would be happy to take home. Items should be as clean and presentable as possible! Items that are dirty\, too worn\, broken\, etc. will not be accepted for the swap. \nAs the summer sun sets\, come together and enjoy an evening of live music\, friends and family. From live music to sustainable fashion\, it’s a celebration for all ages! \n  \n5:00 – 6:00 pm | Community Showcase \n6:15 – 7:00 pm | John Michael Lind \n7:15 – 8:00 pm | RAIAAN \n  \nVancouver\, Canada-based alt-country singer-songwriter John Michael Lind delivers heart-to-heart connection with soaring vocals\, driving rhythm guitar\, and well-crafted tunes. Often compared to Blue Rodeo\, JML ignites venues across Canada and Europe\, entertaining crowds for over 10 years. From a wellspring of inspiration fed by John Prine\, Van Morrison\, Townes Van Zandt and Steve Earle (and more!)\, JML crafts touching songs that reverberate in hearts long after the show. Covers of gems like Gordon Lightfoot’s “Canadian Railroad Trilogy\,” Bob Dylan’s “Lily\, Rosemary & the Jack of Hearts” and more make a great night of music! \nRAIAAN is an R&B and pop singer/songwriter originally from Kenya\, currently residing in Vancouver\, Canada. Influenced by crooners such as; Etta James and Louis Armstrong\, and storytellers like Eloise\, Maya Delilah\, and Bruno Major\, RAIAAN amalgamates his smooth vocals with emotional and catchy melodies for a modern sound that pays homage to his predecessors. After working alongside a bunch of amazing artists\, producers\, engineers\, and creators\, RAIAAN has just released his debut album in September of 2023\, while still producing and engineering for other upcoming artists on the side. He is a singer and guitarist with a natural charisma that combines a repertoire of songs from the genres of pop\, blues\, country and folk. He commands instant attention because his masterful singing voice conveys the truth\, beauty and deep meaning within each song\, expressed with the full weight of his personal life experiences. \n  \nSara Magal is a Brazilian singer and songwriter living in Vancouver BC. Introspective yet playful\, her music reflects her love for bossa nova\, samba\, jazz and afro rhythms.  Creating her uniqueness\, singing mostly in Portuguese\, her music connects cultures and gives new possibilities for other ways of listening.
