This is a FREE 12-week program consisting of 50+ activities for seniors to improve their physical strength, mental health and social wellbeing. Anyone 55 and over is welcome to participate. The project will start on September 15th with a welcome party – all seniors are invited to join. Programmed activities will start from the week of September 17th until the week of December 2nd, with a wrap up party on December 8th. The program activities will take place all across campus – with many at Wesbrook and the Old Barn Community Centre, others will be in our partners facilities, including UBC Aquatic Centre, Osborne Centre, UBC Botanical Garden, Roy Barnett Recital Hall, and TRIUMF.

Most activities are senior friendly and accessible to all abilities, with a few exceptions. These details will be program specific and listed in the Passport next to each program. The activities will be led by paid instructors as well as Senior Ambassador Volunteers. We hope through trying out these different activities first hand, seniors will discover their own path to wellbeing.

Your Passport to Wellbeing is funded by Employment and Social Development Canada under its New Horizons for Seniors Program.
