Service Update: Street Lights at Hawthorn

Earlier this week, UBC Energy and Water Services reported there was an unidentified issue in their power supply system that supplies power to the Hawthorn street light kiosk. This affected streetlight services and led to outages in the Hawthorn area since Monday, May 15, 2023.

As of Wednesday May 17, the UBC Energy and Water Services team reported that the issue has been resolved with a temporary replacement of a bad component. A permanent fix is scheduled and updates will provided as the planned fix is implemented.
