We offer week-long and single-day children’s camps throughout the year. All UNA camps focus on safety, acceptance, inclusivity and fun to provide growth opportunities for children (ages 3-15) in the UBC community. Campers develop new skills, build positive relationships and discover their own passions and interests.

Arts Camps

Develop new interests and skills through creative expression in these camps for young creators! Arts camps provide opportunities for children to discover their inner creativity through visual and performing arts.

  • Dance Camps

    Express yourself through movement in dance camps, from ballet to K-pop!

    • Activities
      Lots of dancing! Learn new moves, routines, and techniques.
    • Requirements
      For ballet, contemporary and jazz type classes, ballet slippers or socks are recommended. For hip-hop and K-pop style classes, please wear non-marking shoes. Please remember to pack a nut-free lunch and water for full-day camps.

    • Activities 
      Play music together, write songs and collaborate.
    • Requirements
      Bring your own instrument. Sound equipment, a piano and drum set are provided by the camp.

Adventure Camps

Adventure camps provide children (ages 5-11) with opportunities to grow through new experiences. Adventurers will explore the UBC community and beyond with field trips to locations like the UBC Farm, UBC Aquatics Centre, and Pacific Spirit Park. You can also expect team games, sports, arts and crafts, science experiments, playground time and more!

    • Requirements
      Campers should wear clothes they are comfortable running around in and that can get messy during arts and crafts. This camp will go outdoors rain or shine, please ensure campers are prepared for the weather. We recommend a hat for the sun and rain jacket and layers for the rain. Please pack a bathing suit and towel for the splash pad every day. All campers must bring a packed lunch, snacks, and water.

  • Winter Adventure Camps

      This camp is an opportunity for campers to explore the theme of winter through crafts, games, and science activities.
    • Requirements
      Campers should wear clothes they are comfortable running around in and that can get messy during arts and crafts. Please pack a nut-free snack and dress for the weather.

      Registration for Winter Adventure Camp 2023 will open in August 2023.
