Volunteers are integral to our community and to enriching the services, events and recreational offerings in our neighbourhoods. Volunteers contribute in countless ways towards helping the University Neighbourhoods Association (UNA) achieve so much more for our community.

English Instructors and Substitutes

The English Conversation Instructor/Substitute is a volunteer position that provides opportunities for adult English Language Learners to practice and improve their English skills.

Seniors' Drop-In Hosts

The Seniors’ Drop-In Host is a volunteer position that works with the Seniors Coordinator to plan and manage the Seniors Drop-In program.

This volunteer position works with the Seniors’ Coordinator to plan and manage a weekly Seniors’ Gym time at Wesbrook Community Centre.

Storytime at the Old Barn Leader and Subs

This volunteer position provides a group experience for young children and their caregivers.

Tech Literacy Assistants

Tech Literacy Assistants are volunteers that empower seniors to learn how to use their smart phones, tablets and laptops.

This positions works with other volunteers to plan and manage the Walk and Talk program.

Submit a Proposal for a Volunteer-Led Program
