Temporary Closure: Khorana Park and Playground

In order to assist the civil work for District Energy System connection to the north Binning Area, Khorana Park and Playground will be closed for public access in October 2022.

Also, be advised that the direct access from Binning townhomes facing Khorana Park will be closed for duration of the project.

The project team is expected to adhere to the UNA noise bylaw and minimize impact where possible. Construction activities will be conducted between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Construction activities that will be carried out at this site include:

• Excavation, trenching, backfilling
• Pipe fabrication and installation
• Electrical and telecommunications installation
• Landscaping and park reinstatement upon completion of construction
