UNA Recreation Review: Next Steps

The public engagement portion of the UNA Recreation Review has now concluded. The UNA Recreation Team would like to thank all those who participated in our focus groups, community meetings, pop-ups and online survey.

Your input will go a long way at helping us improve our recreation and cultural services.

Do you love the challenge of a pickleball match at Wesbrook Community Centre or enjoy newcomers’ meetings in the Living Room of the Old Barn Community Centre? Perhaps you spend your weekends volunteering at our community events or maybe you’ve thought about registering for a program, but haven’t yet? No matter how you enjoy University Neighbourhoods Association (UNA) recreation programs, we want to hear from you!

We’re looking for volunteers, ideally one or two per University Neighbourhood, to participate in some small group meetings (focus groups) to tell us what you think about our current recreation and culture programs and community events – and to help us determine future programs.

The small group meetings will take place in February 2023 and last about 1.5 hours each.  Don’t worry if you can’t commit to a meeting – there will be plenty of other opportunities to provide feedback about our recreation and culture programs and community events.
