The UNA Board wrote to the Hon. David Eby regarding the fire tax and the service levy issues on September 20. The UNA Board received Attorney General’s response on October 6.
The University Neighbourhoods Association is now accepting nominations for the UNA Board of Directors, with two Resident Director positions open for election. UNA members are encouraged to take on this leadership role in our community.
Voting can be done either on October 10th (at Vancouver City Hall) or on Saturday, October 14th, from 8:00am to 8:00pm (at University Hill Secondary School).

The UNA Board struck a bylaw committee with the UNA Directors appointed as the committee in July 2017. The bylaw committee has reviewed the draft and are now seeking public feedback on the draft before it is brought forward to the UNA Board for approval at the October UNA Directors meeting. The UNA is pleased to announce that parking restrictions will be extended to 9 pm in East Hawthorn Neighborhood (Eagles Drive & Logan Lane). New restrictions will become effective on October 2, 2017, to address ongoing UBC Field Users parking issue.
