Join the Waitlist for Child Care at Nobel Park

We are pleased to share some initial information about the upcoming inauguration of the Nobel Park YMCA Child Care Centre. The anticipated opening of the centre is March 2026, pending completion of the building and approval from Vancouver Coastal Health.

The registry waitlist will open on Monday, December 8, 2025 and will be accepting sign-ups until Tuesday, December 23, 2025.

Due to the high level of interest and limited space, the YMCA will be conducting a lottery to determine initial placements for children who meet current age and UNA priority eligibility criteria, starting in January 2026. Following the lottery, any remaining spots will be offered based on the original application date.
