FAQs

Below are some frequently asked questions about the AGM and UNA Society Memberships.

  • Why should I attend the AGM?

Attending the AGM is important so you can get updates on the UNA’s finances, organizational improvements, and community projects. You can also meet UNA leadership and UBC representatives and ask the questions that matter most to you. Members can also connect with like-minded neighbours who care about making our community stronger.

  • I have a UNA Card. Does this mean I am a UNA Society Member?

NO. The UNA Card is a discount card for UNA residents. It is a separate service and it does not have any connection to UNA Society Memberships. Residents can apply for a UNA Card regardless of whether or not they have a UNA Society Membership, and vice versa.

  • Can I get a hard copy of the AGM 2025 Proxy Form?

Yes. You can pick up a hard copy of the AGM 2035 Proxy Form at the front desk at any UNA community centre during regular operating hours.
