Join the UNA for a week of fun and interaction as it celebrates B.C. Youth Week. All activities aim to build a strong connection between young people and their communities and to profile issues, accomplishments and diversity of youth across British Columbia.

MONDAY

Sustainability Scavenger Hunt & Sundaes
Ages 9+ | May 2 | 4-6 p.m. | Wesbrook Community Centre

Learn about sustainability in the UBC campus through a fun and exciting scavenger hunt! Participate in a team or simply come as you are; there will be ice cream and prizes. This event is sponsored by the UBC Student Environment Centre.

 

TUESDAY

Bubble Soccer
Ages 13-18 | May 3 | 5-7 p.m. | Collings Field

Come join this game of Bubble soccer, is the sport of soccer while half-encased inside an inflated zorb, which covers the player’s upper body and head. Signed Waivers are required and can be found on the una website. Limited space available and signed waiver required.

 

WEDNESDAY

Dodgeball
Ages 9-18 | May 4 | 5:30-7 p.m. | Wesbrook Community Centre Gym

Come as a team or as an individual for this dodgeball tournament. Where teams will throw balls and hit opponents while fighting for the top spot.

 

THURSDAY

Capture the Flag
Ages 13-18 | May 5 | 4-6 p.m. | Rhododendron Wood

Come play Capture the Flag against your peers in Rhododendron Wood. Teams will work together to strategize, steal and win this traditional schoolyard game. Snacks will be available and wear good shoes.

 

FRIDAY

Glow in the Dark Night
Ages 13-18 | May 6 | 8-10 p.m. | Jim Taylor Park

Ready for a night of fun? Come to Glow in the Dark Night, where youth get together and play fun games with paint, followed by a movie night and free food.
