The Campus Resident publishes 10 printed issues annually (monthly, apart from August and January) and is available online.

The paper is overseen by a managing editor in conjunction with the Newspaper Editorial Committee, which is composed of a diverse set of resident volunteers. The committee’s mandate is to set the editorial direction, assist with recruiting its content creators, and even create content for publication. The role of the committee allows The Campus Resident to function successfully as a paper for residents, by residents.

The committee—whose staffing is overseen by UNA board members and includes a public application system—generates a list of story ideas and discusses them at the monthly meetings.

For additional insight on the committee’s mandate and how the newspaper is run, you can see their full Terms of Reference (PDF).
