Update: January 18, 2024, 4 a.m.

Snow removal crews are onsite this early morning. Ice and snow removal work will first begin in high traffic areas and than expanding to all neighbourhoods.

Due to overnight low temperatures, sidewalk and crosswalk surfaces may become slippery. Please dress warm and wear appropriate footwear with good traction. Proceed with extra caution when heading out.

Snow removal crews are working to ensure all priority areas are clear, however, as snow continues to fall, we ask everyone to be cautious while navigating streets and sidewalks. For sidewalks, roads, snow and ice removal concerns, please contact us at snow@myuna.ca.


Update: January 17, 2024, 9:30 a.m.

Snow removal crew is onsite but removal activity is currently on hold due to heavy snowfall. Removal activity will resume once weather permits.

In preparation for inclement weather, the UNA’s ice and snow removal team will arrive onsite early tomorrow, January 17, 2024 at approximately 4 a.m. to assess and to provide snow removal from sidewalks and priority locations.
