BCUC Approves Corix Rate Increase Application

The British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) has reached their conclusion and has approved Corix’ rate increase application for the UBC Neighbourhood District Energy System. Corix sought rate increases of 18% in 2025, 15% in 2026, and 12% in 2027 to offset higher operating costs and lower-than-forecast revenues from delayed building connections.
