Front Desk Agent

As the first point of contact for patrons of the UNA community centres, the Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing general customer service, UNA’s administrative functions, recreation program support, and facility preparation duties, ensuring that patrons and visitors are treated in a courteous and friendly manner.

Front Desk Agent - Auxiliary

Reporting to the Recreation and Operations Departments, the Front Desk Agent (Auxiliary) assists with facility preparation duties for programs, events, meetings, and rentals at the community centres. Responsibilities include setting up and taking down rooms, organizing equipment and furniture in storage, maintaining a clean and safe space, and performing other facility-related tasks. This position also includes work at the UNA Green Depot to support UNA’s waste diversion and reduction goals. It is an auxiliary, on-call position.

Youth Activity Leader

Under the general supervision of the Programming and Events, Youth Program Coordinator, the Youth Activity Leader will assist in the development, coordination and delivery of Youth Programs at the UNA. The Youth Activity Leader will deliver one of UNA and UBC Inspired’s hallmark programs: Pre-teen Leadership. This position will also facilitate youth drop-in programs and workshops to promote safety and inclusivity for youth in the community.

Connected Communities Program Assistant

The Connected Communities Program Assistant will support the delivery of programs and events related to social connectedness, community outreach, capacity building, and equity, diversity & inclusion. These include active transportation initiatives, workshops, pop-up events, and community grant projects.
