French Club Co-Leader

Co-facilitate a French conversation club where participants practice speaking French in a casual, supportive environment, with conversations centred around a chosen weekly topic. This is not an instructed language class. While the group may learn some new words, the focus is on gaining confidence using skills acquired elsewhere.

Storytime at the Old Barn Leader

Storytime Leader is a volunteer position that offers valuable opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and provides a safe and welcoming experience for parents and care givers with babies through a session of rhymes, songs and stories to support early development.

Sewing and Knitting Studio Leader

The Sewing and Knitting Studio Leader will facilitate a drop-in program for people to work on self directed, individual or group sewing and knitting projects.

Parent and Tot Program Assistant

The Parent and Tot program assistant help program leader to facilitate Parent and Tot Drop-In program at Wesbrook and Old Barn Community Centres. Parent and Tot is one of the UNA’s most popular programs, allowing young children opportunities for physical and social skill development, as well as fostering connections between parents and caregivers in the community.

Green Depot Waste Warrior

Green Depot Waste Warriors volunteer at the UNA Green Depot to help residents sort their recycling and reduce the amount of unnecessary waste going into the land fill

English Instructors and Substitutes

The English Conversation Instructor/Substitute is a volunteer position that provides opportunities for adult English Language Learners to practice and improve their English skills.

Submit a Proposal for a Volunteer-Led Program
